Industrial Economics is formed by merging former JUFE Industrial Economics and Business Economics in 1996. It was the first group of provincial key disciplines in Jiangxi. It was one of the first disciplines which is entitled to issue Doctoral degree and Master degree of Industrial Economics, and found the first post-doctoral mobile research station. Industrial Economics was selected as National Key disciplines in 2008
School gathers a set of distinguished senior faculty, we have 8 full-time researchers and 20 part-time researchers. Among them, we have 13 professors,11 vice-professors,4 lecturers,16 master’s supervisors,16 doctor’s supervisors. Among research team, we have 10 provincial discipline leaders, 2 famous lecturers of Jiangxi, 2 people who was selected for Jiangxi Talents Project,7 people who was entitled to benefits from the State Council and Jiangxi provincial government, and 25 people have a doctorate.
After many years of accumulation, Industrial Economics has 4 main research directions: Industry organization and Industry Cluster, Industrial Restructuring and State-owned Enterprise Reform, Governmental Regulation and Public Utility Reform, New Modern Service. And it formed the distinctive features.
Our discipline is rely on 2 key research base for Humanities and Social Sciences of Jiangxi’s universities----JUFE Center for Regulation& Competition and Center for Industrial Structure and Industrial Development. Since 2001, we published 42 academic monographs and 26 textbooks,200 papers on famous journals like China Industrial Economy, Reform, Management World, Finance& Trade Economics, among them, there are 48 CSSCI. Undertake 8 national subjects, 46 provincial-level subjects, 28 subjects have rewarded as provincial outstanding academic research achievements. And it has a wide impact on domestic Industrial Economics field. |
